Dover Business College

Dover Business College offers a Licensed Practical Nurse program that students can complete in order to begin their careers as LPNs. The Dover Business College practical nursing program includes 1424 program hours, and requires approximately 15 months to complete. Students who successfully complete the LPN program at Dover Business College are eligible to sit for the NCLEX-PN licensure examination.

The Dover Business College LPN program prepares students to enter the workforce in a variety of settings, including nursing homes, rehabilitation centers, urgent care, hospitals, clinics, physician’s offices, or in private in-home settings. Graduates of Dover Business College must still pass the state licensure exam to begin practicing nursing in an LPN setting.

Applicants at Dover Business College must provide proof of graduation from an accredited high school or a high-school equivalency. Nursing applicants must take an entrance exam, undergo a personal interview, and complete an essay. Nursing students must also undergo a physical assessment by a licensed physician, and provide proof of immunization and communicable disease history, per New Jersey regulations and requirements.
