Brown Mackie College provides well-rounded practical nursing training with a Certificate in Practical Nursing or a Diploma in Practical Nursing that combine classroom instruction and clinical experience. Courses at Brown Mackie College are completed one by one (in 30 days), allowing students to concentrate on the subject at hand.

The practical nursing program covers human anatomy, developing nursing and critical thinking skills, calculating dosages, administering medications, and providing nursing care for common health problems. The program also teaches students how to perform as a practical nurse in a clinical, hospital, or nursing home setting and helps prepare them for the NCLEX-PN exam – the National Council Licensure Examination for Practical Nursing.
