How to Become an LPN in Hawaii

To become an LPN in Hawaii you will need to:

  1. Attend a Hawaii Board of Nursing approved nursing program. Have the school send a set of official transcripts directly to the Board.
  2. Send a completed application to the Hawaii Board of Nursing along with a $40 application fee. You can get an application form here.  
  3. Once you are approved to test, register for and pass the NCLEX-PN exam. You can register online here. The exam fee is $200.
  4. Receive your license from the Hawaii Board of Nursing.

NCLEX-PN exam results are mailed to you two weeks after the exam.
