To become an LPN in Florida you will need to:
- Attend a Florida practical nursing program.
- Apply for a license online here.
- Register for and pass the NCLEX-PN exam. You can register online here. The exam fee is $200.
- Receive your license from the Florida Board of Nursing.
You can only take the NCLEX-PN exam up to three times. If you fail it three times, you will need to undergo remedial training approved by the Florida Board of Nursing.
